Machine Shop Production Supervisor oversees personnel in charge of operating machines that perform a variety of processing operations. Supervises assembly operations such as filing, aligning, fitting, and scraping of parts to ensure established requirements and standards are met. Being a Machine Shop Production Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and versatile Driver/Utility Worker to join our team. As a Driver/Utility Worker, you will be responsible for pick up and delivery of materials and parts locally. When not driving, you will be a utility worker performing various duties such as general labor, maintenance and cleaning around the shop. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to different tasks as needed.Duties:
- Operate delivery trucks and commercial vehicles
- Perform heavy equipment operations, such as operating forklifts and other machinery
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and products
- Conduct inspections and maintenance on equipment and vehicles
- Transport goods and materials between different locations
- Assist with general labor tasks as assignedRequirements:
-Pass DOT physical
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts
- Ability to operate commercial vehicles in compliance with safety regulations
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods of time
