    The Access Control Project Manager is responsible for managing the execution of access control related projects for our clients including overseeing, managing, and reviewing product accuracy and installation details. The Project Manager must provide excellent customer service and maintain strong professional relationships with our clients, vendors, partners, and fellow employees. The position demands solid knowledge of access control systems and strong communication skills and organizational multi-tasking capabilities to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
    • Oversee and manage Access Control projects from inception to completion
    • Visit each jobsite with Sales Representatives prior to installation to ensure complete understanding of project scope and specifications
    • Ensure pertinent documentation and paperwork are accurate and complete
    • Develop project plans, including scope, budget, and timeline
    • Coordinate and communicate with project stakeholders, including clients and contractors
    • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedule and budget
    • Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications
    • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project success
    • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, permits, and other pertinent documentation
    • Job Scheduling utilizing time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
    • Meets project completion schedules while ensuring labor and material costs are within budget
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations in accordance with company and customer standards
    • Installation of devices including camera and close caption television (CCTV) systems, access control, and audio-visual
    • Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks
    • Maintain company vehicle in good working order and condition including vehicle cleanliness standards
    • Troubleshoot and repair building automation system panels, including communications equipment, printed circuit boards, power supplies, electrical/electronic controls, sensors, and transducers
    • Produce quality technical documentation describing the conceptual and quantitative facets of system deployment, intended for both a technical and non-technical audience
    • Maintain a safe work environment and monitor compliance with building and safety codes
    • Works as both individual contributor and as part of Access Control team to accomplish project
    • Coordinates with Sales Representative to track job projects, complete jobs projects by quoted deadline, and update stakeholders as necessary
    • Regular attendance at work and provides appropriate flexibility
    • Other job-related tasks as assigned by management
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Expert knowledge of low voltage electrical systems
    • Strong knowledge of project scheduling
    • Excellent time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings
    • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
    • Experience in project coordination and managing multiple stakeholders
    • Experience with electronic equipment repairs is preferred
    • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team of contractors and subcontractors
    • Ability to perform physical work outdoors year-round in a variety of weather elements
    • As a condition of employment, employer will conduct a background check and drug screen prior to hire
    • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
    • Ability to understand, speak and write English
    EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
    • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
    • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Project Management (CPM), or other project management certification is preferred
