Consumer Loan Processor– South Burlington, VT

Vermont Federal Credit Union is recruiting for a Consumer Loan Processor out of our South Burlington Operations Center.

Job Description:

The Consumer Loan Processor does a variety of lending support functions including:

• Process supporting documents, coordinate loan closings and documentation, close loans and finalize loan disbursements.
• Contact Members to obtain and follow-up on required paperwork processing and loan closing documents.
• Verifies accuracy of information on loan documents.
• Files loan documentation with the appropriate agencies.
• Identify and provide leads for Loan Officers to follow-up with.
• Occasionally originate member loan applications and prepares them for review by a Loan Officer.
• Delivering outstanding service that is in alignment with the Credit Union’s Service Promises.

Requirements:

• 2 years’ experience in financial services.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, organization, courtesy, and tact are essential elements.
• Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining accuracy of work.
• Commitment to the Credit Union’s Service Promises is required.
