We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our team
As an Attorney on our team, you will be responsible for providing legal services to clients in civil litigation matters, including (but not limited to) commercial law, real estate, commercial tax, real estate law, finance, and estate planning. The Litigation Attorney will investigate and review the facts of the case, research the relevant laws, develop strategies and solutions, draft legal documents, and represent the client in court.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate facts of the case, research the relevant laws
- Develop legal strategies and solutions to address the clients legal issues
- Draft legal documents, briefs, memorandums of law, and appellate briefs
- Represent clients in court and present arguments
- Analyze the impact of laws and regulations on the clients legal matters
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- At least 3 years of experience in civil litigation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience in commercial law, real estate, commercial tax, real estate law, finance, and estate planning is a plus
