Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include license management, regulatory compliance, customer interaction, internal coordination, documentation, reporting, and implementing the systems for regulatory compliance.  The Manager, Licensing encompasses responsibility for both customer / vendor licenses and QuVa internal licenses.  The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and management skills, the ability to work effectively with regulatory agencies, legal teams, internal teams, and customers, as well as advanced software skills.  This person will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure compliance and streamline operations.  Your attention to detail and adherence to precise procedures will guarantee that our medications meet the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and quality, providing patients with the best possible care and outcomes.     What the Manager, Licensing Does Each Day:

    • Develop and oversee the process of obtaining, approval, renewal, and maintenance of all QuVa customers and QuVa licenses
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations
    • Build and maintain a comprehensive database of all active and pending licenses
    • Maintain QuVa Pharma licenses with all states and relevant regulatory agencies
    • Manage the timely renewal of all licenses to ensure continuous compliance
    • Propose and implement a rigorous process for the regular review of both QuVa and customer licenses, ensuring ongoing compliance and optimization
    • Lead and mentor a team of licensing coordinators, fostering a culture of compliance and excellence
    • Set clear performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations for team members
    • Continuously monitor changes in licensing regulations and promptly update company policies to ensure ongoing compliance
    • Develop, document, and refine the end-to-end process for planned and trigger reporting, detailing information sources, submission procedures, reporting systems, and timelines
    • Ensure all licensing activities strictly adhere to regulatory requirements
    • Coordinate closely with other groups such as legal and compliance teams to swiftly address and resolve any regulatory issues
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer licensing inquiries
    • Resolve any licensing-related issues or disputes promptly and effectively
    • Create and document the process flow for customer licenses, detailing responsibilities, review processes, and systems used
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and compliance
    • Collaborate with customer service, marketing, legal, and other relevant departments to support licensing needs
    • Develop and implement efficient licensing processes and procedures
    • Provide regular updates and comprehensive reports on licensing activities to senior management
    • Work with cross-functional teams to align licensing activities with overall business objectives
    • Prepare and maintain detailed records of all licensing transactions
    • Generate detailed reports on licensing activities and compliance status
    • Ensure all licensing documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible
    • Develop and enforce the overall policy for QuVa and customer licenses, including responsibilities, timelines, and necessary documentation
    • Propose and implement software and automation solutions to streamline licensing work
    • Coordinate with customer service, PS, DEA, sales, Customer Service, IT, and legal teams to implement automations
    • Evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy in licensing management

    Minimum Requirements for this Role:

    • Master’s degree in life science or related field
    • 5-7 years’ experience in licensing management within pharmaceutical industry with 3 years’ leadership experience
    • Strong knowledge of licensing regulations and compliance requirements
    • Excellent organizational, management, and multitasking skills
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
    • Proficiency in using licensing management software and tools
    • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
    • Efficiency with MS Office suite
    • Able to successfully complete a drug and background check
    • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; QuVa is not able to sponsor applicants for work visas
