Licensing Coordinator

First Gear designs and engineers licensed diecast scale replicas and toys for custom imprinting and for collectors worldwide. We are searching for someone to help manage our licensing department. First Gear is licensed with over forty different equipment manufacturers. As the Licensing Coordinator, it will be your responsibility to communicate with our licensors and manage our licensing contracts.

Duties and Responsibilities

·        Maintain and monitor license agreement terms & renewals

·        Correspond with licensors as needed

·        Track licensor requests or changes to ongoing projects

·        Track product throughout the approval processes 

·        File and organize licensing files

·        Process and ship final licensor samples

·        Assist with royalty payment submissions

·        Obtain new license agreements when necessary

Qualifications

·        Associate degree or equivalent years of experience in business or communications

·        Detail orientated, organized and good negotiating skills

·        A pro-active and self-motivated personality with a positive attitude

·        Excellent analytical and communication skills

·        Ability to take direction, receive constructive feedback, and work with multiple departments

·        Ability to read and understand contracts

·        Proficient in English grammar

·        Experience with MS Office
