Legal Secretary jobs in West Virginia

Regional office of large defense law firm seeks an experienced, full time legal assistant for its Wheeling, WV office. A minimum of 3-5 years of legal experience is preferred.

Essential Duties include:

- Preparation of letters, memos, court and administrative pleadings, real estate documents, estate documents or other documents as required

- Filing of pleadings (including electronic filings)

- Docketing of dates, organization, and production of documents in firm's document management system

- Maintaining of office files

- Scheduling appointments and maintaining attorney calendar

- Entering attorney timesheets, submission of reimbursement requests and check requests

- Faxing, copying, scanning and emailing documents to clients, attorneys and other personnel

Minimum Requirements:

- Excellent computer and grammar skills

- Excellent organizational skills

- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written

- Team player
