Legal Assistant
We are looking for a self-motivated legal assistant to ensure smooth running of the office and effective case management. You will provide a broad spectrum of legal services under the supervision of an attorney. The ideal candidate will also be able to communicate with, in both spoken and written form, our growing clientele.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to lawyer and enhance office effectiveness
• Handle communication with clients, potential clients, and courts etc.
• Answer and direct phone calls
• Maintain contact lists
• File documents in paper client files
• Reach out to and schedule appointments with new client leads and keep track of new client leads in our software program

Skills

• Proven working experience as legal assistant or legal secretary- preferred
• Customer service and sales experience
• Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office- preferred
• Computer literacy
• Proficiency in English
• Working knowledge of case management software- preferred
• Excellent secretarial and organizational skills
• Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
