Legal Assistant jobs in Hawaii

One of Hawaii’s top family law firms seeks a legal assistant.

Duties include handling calls from clients, opposing counsel and others; maintaining files; preparing pleadings and motions; case tracking; calendaring and correspondence; handling intakes.

Successful candidates will have strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook, are detail-oriented, and reliable. Prior experience with Clio Manage and Clio Grow is a plus. Experience in family court litigation is highly desirable. Ability to deal with emotional clientele involved in divorce, child custody, and other family court litigation is required. This is a fast-paced environment involving a substantial caseload, where setting priorities and meeting deadlines are critical skills.
