    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement quality control processes, conduct inspections, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.


    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
    • Conduct inspections and audits of materials, components, and finished products to assess conformance to specifications and quality standards.
    • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and non-conformities.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, to resolve quality-related issues and improve product performance.
    • Utilize statistical analysis and quality tools to monitor process performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Participate in design reviews and new product development activities to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle.
    • Provide training and guidance to employees on quality-related processes, procedures, and best practices.
    • Support customer complaints investigations and coordinate corrective actions to address customer concerns.
    • Maintain quality documentation and records in compliance with regulatory requirements.


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
    • 5 years of experience in quality engineering or a related role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
    • Strong understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Statistical Process Control).
    • Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., ITAR, MIL-STD).
    • Proficiency in statistical analysis software and quality tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, FMEA, Control Plans).
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Sitting for long periods. Dexterity and coordination to handle files and single pieces of paper; occasional lifting of items weighing up to (25) twenty-five pounds such as files, stacks of paper, reference and other materials. Moving from place to place within the office; minimum reaching for items above and below desk level. Strength, dexterity, coordination and vision to use keyboard and video display terminal for prolonged periods.
