Responsible for supervision of the Hotel Housekeeping operations and staff during assigned shift. Maintains clean, attractive public and guest room areas within the facility. Assist the Executive Housekeeper in the overall operation of the department by completing assigned duties, and by serving in the capacity of the department manager in his/her absence.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
An associate’s degree in a business management related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum two (2) years of related supervisory work experience required with direct leadership experience in training staff, assigning work, managing performance, and allocating resources.
Knowledgeable about proper housekeeping techniques, and handling of chemicals.
Must have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to assume a role of authority as necessary; set an example for coworkers; observing work and providing constructive feedback to others.
Must be able to perform all duties of a Guest Room Attendant, including but not limited to: vacuuming, changing linens, sweeping, mopping, dusting, etc.
Proficient in MS Office, Excel and Outlook.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined areas.
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
Must have open availability.
Must be fully vaccinated.
