Laboratory Courier jobs in Colorado

This position will open mail / UPS / Federal Express packages, accession samples, and route samples to appropriate lab(s).

This position will drive a CSU vehicle to perform the daily courier route to retrieve specimens from local customers and requires a valid driver license.

The individual will also greet the public in person as well as on the phone, answering questions regarding sample submission.

Sample handling may include spinning tubes containing blood or other body fluids (possibly infectious), transferring plasma or serum to another tube, and / or splitting specimens to route to multiple laboratory sections.

Position Minimum Qualifications Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service. Experience working independently as well as a contributing member of a team.

Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to uphold confidentiality policies.

Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Ability to lift and transfer 40-50 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity working in veterinary environment and use of medical terminology.
