Inventory and Laboratory Services Coordinator
Three Forks, MT
Full-Time Monday-Friday Schedule
Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Seeking qualified applicants for a full-time position as an Inventory/Laboratory coordinator in our busy equine veterinary hospital outside Three Forks.
The position will include primary responsibilities as an Assistant Inventory Manager. Secondary responsibilities will include work as a Laboratory Coordinator, processing in-house and reference lab submissions, as well as back-up duties and cross-training as a Customer Service Representative.
The employee will work alongside our existing inventory team to help manage the inventory of drugs and consumable items. Approximately 50% of their time will be spent performing essential functions of inventory management, with responsibility for dispensing and invoicing drugs and consumables provided to hospital patients and out-patients. The employee will have primary responsibility for handling Over-the-Counter sales and medication refills, as well as management of our on-line pharmacy webpage. The position will also share management responsibility for re-stocking local inventory locations, and for routine audit and reconciliation of inventory-on-hand. The ideal applicant will possess a working knowledge of inventory management, including days-on-hand and turnover.
The employee will spend approximately 30% of their time as a laboratory assistant. Responsibilities will include processing samples for in-house laboratory analysis, as well as collecting and shipping samples for analysis at outside reference labs across the country.
The balance of responsibilities will be comprised of Customer Service, including fulfilling phone, email and web prescriptions, as well as assisting with emergency and overflow phone triage for cases from across the region.
