Full Job Description

Ethel Diagnostic Laboratory is seeking a Lab Tech Assistant for a contract assignment in Edison, NJ to start work immediately. This is a great opportunity for an entry level lab tech to learn and enhance their skill sets within a lab setting. This position would be ideal for someone fresh out of college looking to add to their resume.

Schedule: 10-20 hrs/week, flexible, 2-3 times a week

Primary Responsibilities are as follows:

• Maintain and operate Laboratory instruments.
• Following safety standards and regulations.
• Prepping, running and analyzing data for specimen testing.
• Chemical and/or physical properties testing.
• Administrative support and clerical duties; data entry. Maintaining quality records providing accurate and appropriate documentation.

Qualifications of the Lab Technician:

• Detail oriented and excellent organization skills
• A great team player with passion for the industry

Education Requirements:

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or Chemical Engineering
• Entry level welcome to apply
• Internship position available, with training to become full time Lab Technician
