Summary
This position is located in the Missions Systems Branch of the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). Serves as a key advisor on information systems security for the agency providing advice, guidance, and consultation to key managers, supervisors, and employees of a regular basis - as well as maintain constant awareness of security related issues in all aspects of assigned duties.
Duties
As a IT Specialist (INFOSEC) GS-2210-14, your typical work assignments may include:
- Developing information systems using platforms, programming tools, software and/or other resources to meet user needs in the most effective way ensuring that security issues are properly addressed.
- Provide maintenance support for information systems and responds to user requests for improvements and modifications.
- Provide advice to management and other key officials on nature and scope of automation capabilities and potential use for the Agency.
- Test software applications in the testing environment for system changes, patch releases, and upgrades.
- Plan and coordinate the work of programmers assigned to projects with the responsibility of successful completion of assigned programs and systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $139,395.00 - $181,216.00 per hour
