Summary: Law Firm seeking a full-time runner (Monday through Friday)

Essential Job Functions:

• Log incoming mail and sort mail by department and category; deliver mail to both departments and individuals, ensuring prompt delivery.
• Forward misdirected mail and research unidentified mail to facilitate delivery to appropriate department or individual.
• Manage outgoing messages and packages; maintain detailed records of all incoming packages, including tracking information.
• Ensure proper labeling and packaging for outgoing post.
• Facilitate outgoing deliveries with delivery companies such as FedEx.
• Maintain inventory of mail supplies, such as envelopes and stamps.
• Assist with office moves.
• Scan and copy documents.
• Maintain supplies in kitchens and conference rooms.
• Make deliveries to various courthouses and nearby businesses

Educational and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous mailroom experience a plus.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Diligence and attention to detail.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Ability to work extended hours when necessary.
• Normal office environment.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Must have dependable transportation and good driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
