Job Developer supports social services clients in job searching and placement. Establishes and maintains working relationships with employers, industry organizations, and public agencies to source job openings and secure employment and vocational training opportunities for clients. Being a Job Developer evaluates individual's background, skills, and interest and matches to potential job openings or training programs. Coaches and prepares candidate for interview and entry into the workforce. Additionally, Job Developer may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Job Developer occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. - Promote clients to potential employer sites
- Provide comprehensive client evaluations to state entities and community partners
- Provide job placement services, resume building and mock interviews
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Basic computer skills.
- Patience, compassion, empathy, and a desire to help others.
- Self-motivated, outgoing, and enthusiastic.
Pay range for this full-time position is $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, DOE, and includes a benefit package including choice of two medical plans, vision, dental, paid time off, life insurance, 401(k), EAP, and more. Apply today!
