Jig and Fixture Builder jobs in Ohio
Jig and Fixture Builder assembles a variety of standard and non-standard major jigs, fixtures and related tooling. Ensures jigs function appropriately with complex angles or contours. Being a Jig and Fixture Builder is responsible for determining methods and sequence of operations and scheduling work to be performed from tool design drawings. Designs and creates jig and fixture details and holding devices. Additionally, Jig and Fixture Builder may be required to verify accuracy and quality in accordance with established control procedures. Requires a high school diploma in a related area with certification in the field. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Jig and Fixture Builder works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. - Operate and maintain various machinery and tools such as lathes, milling machines, presses, and CNC machines.

- Utilize knowledge of Fanuc and logic controllers for equipment operation.
- Handle materials efficiently with forklifts in the warehouse.
- Perform tasks related to building, assembling, and repairing structures.Skills:
- Proficiency in operating lathes, milling machines, presses, and CNC machines.
- Experience with Fanuc and logic controllers for machinery operation.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments for accurate fabrication.
- Competency in forklift operation within a warehouse environment.
