The IT Systems Analyst is the first line of support for users and managers for the software and systems used by Bluestem Communities to carry out the operations of our service-oriented business. A successful candidate will be able to analyze and diagnose problems to find the root cause and implement a resolution. It will be critical to think outside the box, understand how systems are interconnected, and be able to document systems and networks. In addition, this position supports the strategic initiatives of the IT department, working with the IT Director in strategic planning, configuration, deployments, and ongoing support.
The IT Systems Analyst's Primary Responsibilities Include- Install, monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade servers and network-connected equipment.
- Provide IT and business application support for users and managers.
- Effectively implement and support technology and software in our facilities to ensure that our managers can focus on operations and caring for our customers, and not be hindered by technology.
- Work alongside the IT Support Coordinator to ensure staff will have their day-to-day computer and technology issues resolved in a professional and timely manner both in-person and using remote access.
- Work with vendors to implement new products or resolve problems.
- Work with the IT Director to manage the IT systems including configuring network switches, cameras, wireless networks, and more.
- Innovate with managers to improve their department operations using existing software and solutions.
- Complete tasks and projects assigned by IT Director.
- Assist with urgent after-hours help desk calls.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Prefer previous experience working in IT for 3 years
- Must have a strong working knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, hardware, and software including Microsoft operating systems
- Must have prior hands-on experience with diagnosing and resolving technical issues
- Must have great problem-solving, analytical, and team-working skills
- Must be an excellent communicator and with great interpersonal skills
