IT Contracts Manager jobs in Minnesota
IT Contracts Manager creates, writes, negotiates and reviews hardware or software licensing contracts. Works with the Business Development team in establishing agreements that reflect the interests of partners and the company. Being an IT Contracts Manager also works with legal counsel when drafting licensing agreements. Ensures contract performance and rewrites or amends as necessary. Additionally, IT Contracts Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Must have a solid understanding of web technology. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The IT Contracts Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be an IT Contracts Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

To perform this job successfully, the Associate Contract Administration must be able to perform the following tasks successfully:- Ensuring timely and accurate contract approval.
- Facilitate communications with customers via telephone, conference calls, emails, mailings and/or meetings. Includes conflict resolution as necessary and a focus on problem solving.
- Ensuring that contract information is accurate and current.
- Review RFP’s, contracts and POs for terms and conditions.
- Understand RFP and contract requirements to ensure they are addressed.
- Draft sales agreements using company templates.
- Review customer contract terms and conditions and collaborate as needed with internal team’s develop response.
- Coordinate insurance requests.
- Review, coordinate, and complete vendor forms.
- Monitor contract expirations and administer potential contract renewals.
- Research and complete certifications.
- Gain product and library market knowledge.
- Develop standard response database to standardize review and responses.
- Research possible state contracts and applicability to bibliotheca products.
