Our preferred candidate would have luxury or independent hospitality experience in the Washington DC market. The ability to be adaptable, calm under pressure, resourceful and efficient is in your DNA. Core Essential Functions: • Run payroll semi-monthly. • Balance and record benefits. • Maintain PTO balances and run applicable reports for Finance. • Prepare and post Journal entries. • Perform collection efforts as necessary. • Post payments received for A/R accounts or deposits for upcoming groups. • Reply to credit card charge-back requests. Supply folio, registration card and copy of credit card imprint within the time allotted by the merchant. • Make collection calls on all accounts over 30 days and log results. • Attend weekly credit meeting with the Director of Finance or Assistant Director of Finance to review the accounts receivable aging. Point out any potential trouble accounts. Preferred Accounts Associate will have: • One to two years Hotel Accounting experience • Preferred working system knowledge for Opera, ADP, Sun system Accounting, and Excel • Detail oriented with a knowledge of Payroll timekeeping, processing detailed invoices, processing checks, and knowledge of collections Benefits At Lyle Washington DC we are committed to giving our employees the skills and support required to deliver extraordinary experiences, and most importantly, to grow in their careers.
