Being an Inventory Control Supervisor assists with inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations. Utilizes Inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting. Additionally, Inventory Control Supervisor collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement and support initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities using best inventory management practices. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Inventory Control Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Inventory Control Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
