International Trade Specialist is responsible for coordinating credit and financial activities and obtaining payments for import/export operations. Acts as an advisor on matters of tariffs, markets, and federal and foreign regulations. Being an International Trade Specialist ensures that all filings, documents, and regulatory reporting are completed accurately, in a timely manner, and according to trade laws. Keeps informed of international events and changes to laws and requirements that may impact operations. Additionally, International Trade Specialist may negotiate letters of credit or handle issues with international banks. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The International Trade Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Trade Settlement & Support Specialist to join our Wealth Management Service Center team. In this role, you’ll support the trading settlement operational activities for trades processed by internal (Asset Management Team) and external (Third Party) investment managers. Perform daily operational tasks including updating the EZE trade order management system (EZE), affirming trade through DTC OMGEO Trade Suite system (OMGEO), and setting up new securities, inputting and processing transactions, and validating information in SEI Wealth Platform (SWP).
Compensation:
The hourly pay range for this role is $17.69 - $26.71/hr; commensurate with experience.

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (hours may vary)
