Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Mechanical Engineering typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Minimum Education- This position has the following minimum educational requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED: Required
- Associates Degree: Required
- BA/BS Degree - Preferred – Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred
- In lieu of BA/BS degree, 10 years of Technical or Manufacturing experience required
- 2 years medical device manufacturing experience preferred
- 3 years people leading experience preferred
- 5 years’ experience with high-speed automated assembly and packaging equipment required
- Some PLC experience preferred but not essential
