Instructor - Educational Assessment teaches courses in the discipline area of educational assessment, testing, and measurement. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Educational Assessment provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Educational Assessment typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Purpose Of Position
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Instructor to join our Nursing department, specializing in the Adult Gero Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Post Master's Certificate program. This role will also encompass serving as the program director.
Duties & Responsibilities
Program administration and teaching within the Nursing department's new Adult Gero Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Post Master's Certificate program.
Attendance campus once per semester for Intensives is required.
Required Competencies
Competence in the nursing field and relevant subject(s).
Master's Degree in Nursing.
Current clinical experience as an AGACNP.
Certification as an Adult Gero Acute Care NP.
Unencumbered license in ND or ability to be licensed in ND.
Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check.
Minimum Requirements
Master's Degree in Nursing.
Current clinical experience as an AGACNP.
Certification as an Adult Gero Acute Care NP.
Unencumbered license in ND or ability to be licensed in ND.
Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check.
Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral degree in Nursing.
Experience in APN education & administration.
Evidence of scholarship, leadership & service.
