Installation Manager manages a team of installers who are responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing structures and major components. Schedules and oversees the installation of products. Being an Installation Manager ensures adherence to contract specifications and established policies and procedures. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Installation Manager typically reports to a director. The Installation Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Installation Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Position : 1099 Contract Satellite Installer
Location : Nationwide - Work anywhere in the USA
What You’ll Do :
Install satellite internet systems at customer locations
- Run cables and connect equipment for perfect signal reception
- Configure and program satellite receivers
Test and troubleshoot to ensure everything’s working smoothly
- Provide top-notch customer service and answer questions
- Educate customers on using their new satellite systems
What You Need :
- Strong knowledge of telecom systems and equipment
- Experience with fiber splicing and low voltage cabling
Skilled with hand tools and network installation (Cisco routers a plus!)
Excellent problem-solving skills
Great communication abilities
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Previous experience as a service technician is a bonus
