Duties

• Serves as the Aquatics Program Manager responsible for the daily operation and supervision of aquatic fitness, training and recreational programs, personnel, and classes at aquatic facilities.
• Manages multiple indoors and outdoors pools. Provides overall supervision of the aquatic programs. Establishes and reviews the Aquatic Risk Management plan for all aquatic facilities.
• Plans and establishes an aquatic certification curriculum to include lifeguarding, lifeguard instructor, water safety instructor, water fitness instructor, swim lesson, special events, clinics, and intramural aquatic swim meets.
• Coordinates with the MWR marketing department to publicize aquatic events. Establishes and executes processes to evaluate the effectiveness of the aquatic programs.
• Responsible for APF and NAF budget for assigned facilities and programs. Reviews budget execution reports with the Sport and Fitness Director or Chief, DMWR to ensure desired execution rate is met.
