Installation & Maintenance Technician Director jobs in Oregon
Installation & Maintenance Technician Director directs the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of switches, cables, and other telecommunications equipment in the field to ensure optimum network usage and quality. Ensures compliance to customer specifications and company requirements. Being an Installation & Maintenance Technician Director leads all functions and ensures they are completed on time and within budget. Oversees the scheduling of installation and maintenance services. Additionally, Installation & Maintenance Technician Director requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Installation & Maintenance Technician Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Installation Technician
Spacesaver Specialists, Inc. is the Oregon and Southwest Washington leader in designing and building very specialized and highly efficient storage systems.
Need to be able to pass both a background check and regular company drug testing (including marijuana).
Objectives of this Role -
- Install the complete range of products sold and maintain knowledge of all product lines.
- Work safely, following OSHA protocols; wears required PPE
- Prepare and maintain the job site, including safety compliance, trash removal and work area cleanliness.
- Inspect materials on arrival for damage, shortages, quality issues.
- Help to maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse and prepare for the next project installation.
Factors for Ideal Candidate
- Knowledge of building construction, remodeling, installation or related fields.
- Have mechanical / technical aptitude and math skills.
- Able to read blueprints or shop drawings, parts lists and engineering documents.
- Good organizational and follow-through skills.
- Punctual, dependable, and can maintain a professional, clean image.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Available to travel overnight, as needed, across Oregon and SW Washington.
