Reporting to the President, the Sales Manager will be responsible for generating outside sales within the high end residential, commercial, restaurant, hospitality, multiple dwelling, and direct-to-consumer markets. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in the custom integration field and is driven to always meet or exceed their sales target while ensuring a positive client experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· The Sales Manager is responsible for selling the following to new and existing clients.
· Safety systems - Alarm panels; Honeywell, 2GIG
· Surveillance - Digital cameras and NVR; Hikvision, Ubiquiti
· Shading - Motorized shading; Lutron
· Audio systems - Whole home audio and surround sound; Sonos, and Yamaha
· Video systems - Home theaters; All major brands of TVs and Sony, Epson projectors
· Media systems - Steaming media players; Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku and all major streaming services
· AV media distribution systems - Video over IP, HDBaseT matrix switchers, MoIP networks - SnapAV and Elan
· Networks - Managed switches, router configuration and WiFi; Ruckus, Ubiquiti, Araknis
· Lighting control - Dimmer panels, Zwave, wireless systems; Lutron, Centralite, Pulseworks
· Access control systems - Linear, Paxton, Yale, DoorKing, Butterfly, Schlage

REQUIREMENTS
· Minimum BS degree
· 5 years of experience designing, installation, or selling audio video technologies.
· Must have previous experience in positions of responsibility in client sales, project design and estimating, new lead prospecting, marketing strategies.
· D-tools experience is highly preferred.
· Proven record of A/V sales exceeding $1.0 MM annually
· Hands on experience with demonstrating structured cabling systems, safety systems, surveillance systems, audio/video systems, network systems, access control systems, lighting control systems, automation systems.
· Strong client interface and verbal/written communications required.
· Time management and sales coordination skills required.
· Ability and willingness to travel throughout assigned region (travel may be required to other client designated areas as agreed upon with employer)
WORK SCHEDULE
Monday - Friday; 7:30 am – 4:00 pm with a 30 min meal break
Overtime may be required from time to time to support business needs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE
· This role may involve standing and walking in addition to sitting.
· At times, one may need to work in potentially noisy, busy environments.
