Information Technology Director directs the implementation and administration of information systems and equipment in accordance with organizational policies and goals. The Director of Information Technology role will draft the company's IT Digital Transformation strategy (7-10 Year Plan) and facilitate management review and approval of this strategy. The Director of IT will be responsible for executing the approved plan while utilizing Shintech’s IT department resources and external resources efficiently, as required to achieve the company goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive IT strategy that integrates enterprise systems such as ERP, MRP, HCM, SCM, CRM, and operational technology with strong cybersecurity measures aligned with NIST standards.
· Oversee all aspects of IT operations, infrastructure, security, development, and support services, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
· Establish and maintain robust IT governance and cybersecurity frameworks to protect against evolving threats, incorporating NIST guidelines and best practices.
· Drive the adoption and optimization of advanced manufacturing technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
· Collaborate with executive leadership to shape overall business strategy, leveraging IT for increased efficiency, competitive advantage, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Manage and negotiate vendor contracts, ensuring strategic alignment and favorable terms for software, hardware, and consulting services.
· Design and implement IT policies and procedures that promote operational excellence and a culture of high performance.
· Lead major IT projects, from system upgrades to security enhancements, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
· Minimum of 15 years in IT leadership, preferably in a chemical manufacturing or similar industrial setting, with extensive experience in managing large-scale IT operations and projects.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Proven expertise in ERP, MRP, HCM, SCM, CRM, operational technology, and cybersecurity, particularly with NIST cybersecurity frameworks.
