Terracon's Salt Lake City Office is looking for a talented addition to our Environmental Department! As one of the largest and most-established environmental consulting firms in Utah, Terracon has an incredible team of environmental professionals and amazing clients.

This position requires an experienced industrial hygienist responsible for leading small to medium-sized industrial hygiene and asbestos / hazardous materials projects.
Primary duties will be to provide consulting services for a broad array of projects, including investigating sites to identify physical or environmental risks.
In this role you will perform field studies including indoor air quality studies, personal air monitoring to assess exposures to various airborne contaminants, noise exposure assessments, facility safety audits and consulting, asbestos surveys, and abatement oversight.
You will develop sampling strategies and outline required analysis, research regulatory standards and hazard data, evaluate sampling results, prepare risk assessment reports, develop recommendations to correct and improve the environment, and present and communicate findings and report recommendations to clients.
