Industrial Engineering Technician jobs in Alabama

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Equipment Technician, Maintenance Engineer), you'll be responsible for performing reliability maintenance activities, implementing effective corrective maintenance repairs, and identifying equipment/process deviations. You'll also assist in troubleshooting manufacturing equipment problems, apply skills and knowledge to increase efficiency, throughput and quality, and perform tasks in a manner that optimizes material and time usage.

• High school diploma or equivalent with related certification or 2-4 years’ related experience. Previous pharmaceutical experience preferred.
• Proficient in oral and written communications/documentation, reading and writing English, and the use of multi-meters.
• Knowledgeable in PLC’s, variable frequency drives, relay logic, electrical and pneumatic control circuits, and CMMS systems. Mathematical aptitude and knowledge of Metric and English weighing and measurement systems required.
• Experience in PLC Troubleshooting, Electrical Troubleshooting, Hydraulics, Mechanical Troubleshooting, Creating Preventive Maintenance Plans, Troubleshooting Industrial Automation Equipment, PLC Programming, PLC Wiring, HVAC, Equipment Troubleshooting, Heavy Equipment Repair, and Facilities Maintenance.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift at least 50 pounds, climb ladders, wear a respirator and pass associated tests, and wear all required PPE.
