First Steps is Missouri's Early Intervention system that provides services to families with children, birth to three years of age, with disabilities or developmental delays. We are seeking a dedicated Team Coordinator to join our team. This role combines service coordination with responsibilities in provider recruitment, training, and handling provider complaints within designated service areas. The Team Coordinator will manage and oversee Early Intervention (EI) examiners and teams, ensuring efficient operation and high-quality service delivery.

Salary: $53,359 andSeptember 1st will increase to $64,617

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate intake and ongoing Service Coordination (SC) tasks.
• Facilitate Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) processes for your caseload.
• Attend company and state leadership meetings.
• Develop and implement provider recruitment plans.
• Oversee EI examiner and team functions.
• Address provider complaints and ensure service quality.
• Organize and lead regular team meetings.
• Work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in one of the following, plus one year of experience working with families and young children: Early Childhood Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Special Education, Child/Human Development, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Education Administration, Sociology, Family Science/Studies, Counseling OR other Bachelor's degree with three years of experience working with families and young children.
• Must have one (1) year leadership/management experience.
