Human Resources Manager

Amotec is actively seeking candidates for a “boots-on the ground” Human Resources Manager. Located outside Tupelo, MS our client is poised for substantial growth with opportunities for advancement within this industry leader.

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for supporting a union manufacturing facility with over 250 employees, providing a hand-on approach to HR. Our client offers a competitive base salary along with bonus, relocation assistance, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.

Responsibilities:

• The HRM will be a hands-on and interactive professional who will develop and execute practices and processes across all areas. Providing functional leadership to the HR department and management teams across the entire company.
• It is imperative that the HRM functions as a positive support person for the entire team.
• Applies an understanding of key legal precedents, policies, and practices to protect the interests of the organization and individual employees, monitors internal and external factors to anticipate the HR needs of the organization.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Union experience is required
• 8 years of experience in manufacturing
• Strong background proficiency in benefits, employee relations, talent development, labor relations, organizational change and performance management
