Human Resources Director plans and oversees human resources functional operations, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, safety, and compliance. Administers human resources programs and policies to reflect the organization's mission and values, support company goals, achieve objectives, and positively engage the workforce. Being a Human Resources Director maintains broad and current subject matter knowledge and expertise in federal and state employment laws to advise leadership with solutions for human resources issues and evolving organizational needs. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization’s goals and strategies related to recruiting, rewarding, and retaining employees.
- Oversees the workflow of the HR staff to include the following personnel:
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations of the HR staff.
- Monitors and ensures the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and recommended best practices
- Assists with developing best practices for recruiting and hiring.
- Oversees the administration of HR programs including but not limited to:
- Handles the onboarding and HR related areas for Confidential Payroll employees
- Processes bi-weekly payroll for Confidential Payroll employees
- Oversees the annual payrate review process and semi-annual bonus incentive program.
