Human Resources Assistant jobs in Colorado

We seek an energetic and highly organized person to assist us in communicating with customers by phone, email, and through our shop, carefully packing and shipping materials, maintaining order of our materials on the shelves, and keeping an accurate inventory of each item. It is also possible to travel to events to spread the word about our organization, in addition to promoting our education work.

Our summer activity into fall is intermittent, so we can be flexible with the hours worked, as long as requests for materials are answered promptly. Winter through May is much busier, particularly from April – May.

This position requires presence in our office in Boulder.

Job Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Organize inventory on shelves
  
• Maintain accurate inventory numbers
  
• Respond to phone calls, e-mails, and orders promptly, enthusiastically, and professionally
  
• Pack and prepare packages for shipment
  
• Manage orders and problem-solve any issues with shipping, product availability, etc
  
• Maintain an orderly office, including regular organization of materials
  
• Respond professionally and quickly to questions, emails, and phone calls
  
• Interest in tabling at events, including some weekends and evenings.
  

Requirements

• Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required
  
• Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales and to promote use of our materials across the United States
  
• Experience using Quickbooks
  
• Ability to handle packaging and shipping on an as-needed basis
  
• Enthusiasm for communicating with our customers regularly
  
• Must have good writing skills
  
• Must have proficient computer skills
  
• Team player and able to work well in a team environment
