HR Operations Analyst jobs in Hawaii

Primary Purpose of JobAdministers the day-to-day operations of benefit and HR programs. Provides direction/guidance to teammates on HR processes and queries. Major Job AccountabilitiesRetains high-level, comprehensive knowledge of Human Resources functions.Answers teammate inquiries and resolves issues from the HR hotline and HR inbox or refers to appropriate HR team when applicable.Assists in optimizing procedures and workflows; builds and maintains process documentation.May be tasked with a specialty area under HR such as, but not limited to: benefit administration, billing, retirement plan administration, NMLS administration, payroll processing, change processes in HRIS (transfers, promotions, terminations, etc.), amongst others.Participates in the development, implementation, and ongoing support of teammate onboarding and offboarding processes, projects, and solutions.Assists with various teammate and special HR projects as assigned.Performs work at the assigned work location.Experience RequiredTwo (2) years of Benefits administration or relevant HR experience. Experience with HR functions and a working understanding of the teammate lifecycle is a plus.Required Skills or TrainingMust be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.Computer proficiency with MS Office applications: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.Must be familiar with HR practices and policies.Must demonstrate judgment in assigned tasks, making decisions, determinations etc.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.EOE, including disability/veteransAt American Savings Bank, we welcome and support all individuals and celebrate the diversity of our team members, customers and community.
