House Supervisor jobs in Idaho

As the House Supervisor, you will supervise and support the nursing staff, while also treating patients. This nurse is responsible for smooth and efficient patient flow, delegating assignments and collaborating with medical providers to provide quality, organized care.  The individual will be working directly with the Chief Nursing Officer, Director of Emergency, Director of Patient Care Services and Director of Quality and Infection Prevention to reach departmental goals.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Current State of Idaho Registered Nurse License
• Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC certifications
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Basic knowledge of computer use; including email and electronic documentation.
• Intermediate math skills including algebra equivalent logic and reasoning required for dosage calculations.
• Ability to use standard patient care equipment including handling flammable gases.
• Knowledge of use on available nursing resources such as approved textbooks and online sites for patient care
• Ability to maintain and follow guidelines set standards of practice in quality patient care and state, federal, and facility required infection control practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills matching our patient’s needs and TVHC’s mission and values.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• One year of hospital nursing experience minimum
• A minimum of 2 years of hospital nursing in a Critical Access Hospital
• Previous House Supervisor experience preferred.
