Hospice Director jobs in North Dakota

Hospice of the Red River Valley (HRRV) is looking for a motivated, independent, and responsible Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing clinical team and service area. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a well-known and 40 year old hospice organization dedicated to the mission of "Providing comfort and care through life's journey". The ideal candidate should have experience in hospice and/or home health with proven success as a leader and mentor.

Position Summary:

In collaboration with the other Regional Director of Clinical Operations, this role is responsible for strategic leadership, vision, and management to ensure quality, consistent multi-disciplinary clinical care and services in compliance with nation regulations and according to the strategic direction set by the board of directors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure clinical competence of clinical staff in the provision of care.
• Confirm consistent delivery of clinic care throughout the organization.
• Guarantee compliance with the hospice conditions of participation (CoPs).
• Confirm optimal performance of corporate compliance
• Reinforce a robust QAPI program.
• Participate in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives for the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, additional consideration given to education or equivalent experience in healthcare management or related field, master's preferred
• Proven record of innovative clinical and operational leadership and problem solving
• Minimum of five (5) years of nursing management
• Proven ability to achieve strategic objectives
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong background in healthcare regulations desirable

Certifications, Licensures, Registrations Required:

• Current state RN Licensure in North Dakota and Minnesota (or willing to obtain dual licensure upon hire)
• Current drivers license and auto insurance
