Home Care Aide provides household management activities to enable patients in independence at home. Assists patient with self-administered medications and emotional supports. Being a Home Care Aide typically requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or a manager. Additionally, Home Care Aide may require CPR certified. The Home Care Aide possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Summary
This position consists of 40 hours per week.
The primary purpose of the Hospice Aide is to provide personal care and homemaker services based on the IDT care plan, assessments of the patient's personal care needs, ability to perform activities of daily living and supervision of care.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers. Hospice certification obtained with 2 year of employment.
