    The Help Desk Support Specialist role focuses on supporting North Risk Partners' team members (end users) through the help desk system. This role will learn North Risk's best practices for providing user support and customer service on company-supported computers, network, server, telephony applications, and more.


    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work under the direction of the IT department team members to:
      • Prioritize and troubleshoot IT Help Desk requests using strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
      • Record all problems and their resolution in Help Desk ticketing system
      • Create knowledge base documents for the ticketing systems
      • Maintain computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, application software, and all configurations 
      • Onboard and offboard employees including equipment, applications, and access 
      • Travel to other office locations for onsite support 
      • Assist in IT projects and support company-wide initiatives (e.g., training employees, software updates, and platform migrations) 
      • Be familiar with agency software solutions 
      • Stay current with industry system information, changes, and updates 

    SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITES: 

    • Perform miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks as requested by management 

    Requirements


    Education, Experience, and Certifications

    • High school degree or equivalent required 
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field preferred, but not required 
    • Related experience in troubleshooting and providing help desk support
