Being a Head of Software Quality Assurance drives continuous improvement activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Head of Software Quality Assurance reports to top management. The Head of Software Quality Assurance manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. QA/QC specialists work closely with project teams, including engineers, contractors, and procurement personnel, to address quality concerns and ensure consistent quality throughout the project lifecycle.
