As a Health and Nutrition Clerk, you will be working in our central office, monitoring and tracking the health information for our Early Head Start program.

To be a Health and Nutrition Clerk, you must have a high school diploma or GED, as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience and/or training in the medical field is preferred
• Ability to work independently and multitask
• Ability to do basic math
• Ability to sit, stand, read, write, and attend to detail daily
• Ability to work with computers daily

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enter and update health tracking information on each child in the program into the tracking system; input health needs information from forms as information is received.
• Enter heights and weights from physicals; enter hearing and vision screening results into the tracking system.
• Contact medical and dental providers when additional information is needed.
• Monitor health needs due dates and provide monthly documentation to staff.
• Track all collected health needs for children in the program and provide information for reporting purposes to all entities as identified.
• Generate and print reports and summaries when requested.
• Act as back-up for receptionist as required and complete other clerical duties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 per hour
