The Vice President, Ancillary and Laboratory Services will provide leadership support for the ancillary and laboratory functions across all practice locations and dedicated imaging and laboratory locations while driviing initiatives consistent with the overall mission, vision, values and goals of Complete Health.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Operations and Support Services, the Vice President, Ancillary and Laboratory Services will develop and lead a team of imaging, pharmacy and laboratory leaders for the coordination and execution of inter-company services and attainment of identified key goals and performance indicators as identified by the executive leadership team and board of directors.

This position works closely with the medical, operations and value-based care leaders, as well as other identified leaders and key stakeholders to collaboratively integrate ancillary and laboratory services into our practices and throughout the organization and ensure overall performance and achievements of identified goals, rollout of company initiatives, performance optimization into Complete Health, providing project coordination support and operational process workflow and initiatives support across the organization.

This position will also have primary accountability for ensuring the achievement of budgeted goals and performenace metrics as outlined for each service line as well as identifying areas for improvement, standardization, optimization and growth, both organic and strategic and in fully supporting all efforts around ensuring our the success of a value-based care practice model.

• Strategic Planning: Play a key role in developing strategic plans for ancillary and laboratory services that align with the company's goals and objectives. This involves identifying growth opportunities, assessing market trends, and ensuring services are in line with the needs of value-based care initiatives.
• Service Development: Lead efforts to develop new ancillary services and expand existing ones, proactively relay innovations and advancements in healthcare technology and practices. Collaborate with medical directors, physicians, and other stakeholders to design services that enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensuring that all ancillary and laboratory services meet regulatory, licensing and certification requirements and quality standards. Oversee quality assurance programs, implement compliance measures, and monitor performance metrics to ensure services are delivered safely and effectively.
• Financial Management: Responsible for the financial performance of ancillary and laboratory services. This includes budgeting, forecasting, and optimizing revenue streams while controlling costs. Negotiate contracts with vendors and manage relationships to ensure favorable terms.
• Partnership and Collaboration: Collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and healthcare providers is essential for the success of ancillary and lab services. Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for collaboration, streamline processes, and enhance coordination of care.
• Performance Improvement: Continuous improvement is key in healthcare. Analyze performance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of ancillary and laboratory services.
• Coach, supervise, provide long-term mentoring to, and evaluate the performance of each department associate and department leaders.
• Collaborate with corporate financial leadership on the development and presentation of the department operations budget, including projections for staffing and capital equipment. Justify variances in budget and corrective action plans / operations re-engineering where necessary ..

• Develop and maintain an in depth understanding of regulatory and certification requirements and stay abreast of changing trends.
• Cultivate leaders, teach them how to delegate and support them to prioritize to achieve agreed upon goals.
• Prioritize and communicate priorities across the departments to create a supportive and united environment working collectively toward agreed upon goals.
• Use objective data to measure success and opportunities and ensure measurable and achievable goals are set and communicated across the organization.
• Understand Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and use data to define/redefine strategies to exceed goals.
• Ensure that all aspects of the daily practice operations respect employees and patients alike and are aligned with the company culture, vision, mission, and goals.

• Maintains compliance with internal policies and external regulatory guidelines, such as HIPAA and OSHA.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Healthcare, or a related field
• MBA or Master's degree in Healthcare of Public Administration or a related discipline preferred.
• Degree, license or certification in an ancillary, imaging or laboratory discipline.
• A minimum of 10 year's laboratory or ancillary healthcare administration, budget management, finance or closely related industry work experience preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years direct management/leadership experience within a customer/client service environment preferred.
• Experience managing a diverse group of functional area professionals strongly preferred.
• Experience managing and overseeing a multi-million-dollar P&L highly desired.
