Head Golf Professional is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations and services of the golf course, including the golf shop, tournaments, practice facilities, and cart fleet. Ensures golf facilities are properly maintained. Being a Head Golf Professional coordinates marketing programs to promote the facility's services to potential customers and oversees member events and daily play. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Head Golf Professional requires an active Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) membership. Typically reports to a golf course general manager. The Head Golf Professional manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Canyon River Golf Club is searching for new members to join our outdoor maintenance team, including full-time, part-time, and summer help for the upcoming season. The season is weather dependent but usually starts around mid March and ends around late October. Employees will be expected to work early mornings. Hourly wages will start at $14.00 depending on experience, with the opportunity for raises and overtime during the season. Golf course grounds or landscape experience is preferred but not required.
