to join our team. As a Tile Setter with Jack Laurie Group, you will be
responsible for installing various types of tile in commercial settings,
including but not limited to, offices, retail spaces, healthcare facilities,
and educational institutions. You will work closely with project managers,
contractors, and clients to ensure the successful completion of each project.
Responsibilities:
- Install ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles
according to specifications and industry standards.
- Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including
leveling, waterproofing, and substrate preparation.
- Measure and cut tiles to fit around obstacles and create
intricate designs.
- Mix and apply mortar, grout, and sealants.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized
work area.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to
ensure project requirements are met.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a commercial tile
setter.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce
high-quality workmanship.
- Knowledge of different tile materials, adhesives, and
installation techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet
project deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
