Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Hard Tile Setter relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Stone Mason to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in tile laying, installation, and restoration.
Duties:
- Install and repair tiles in various settings such as bathrooms, kitchens, floors, and walls
- Prepare surfaces for tiling by removing old tiles, grout, adhesives, and smoothing the surface
- Cut tiles to fit around obstacles and create attractive patterns
- Mix and apply mortar or adhesives to tiles
- Ensure tiles are properly aligned and leveled
- Seal grout and tiles upon completion of the project
Skills:
- Proficient in Stone Masonry
- Knowledge of stucco, frame carpentry, concrete forming, concrete finishing, hardscape, and carpentry
- Ability to read schematics for Stone Masonry and tile layouts
- Experience in tile restoration and installation
- Familiarity with various tools used in Stone Masonry and tile setting
