The UPS Store is looking for a Manager in Training to join our team! We are seeking an individual with excellent customer service, organizational and management skills. The Retail Store Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a UPS Store location. They will open and close the center, manage productivity and ensure the center’s team delivers world-class customer service to all customers, monitor cost control and expenses, and provide weekly and monthly reports to the franchise owner. The Retail Store Manager is ultimately accountable for profit/loss, continuous improvement, service delivery levels, personnel management, and business development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs personnel management, which includes training and coaching associates
• Monitors, evaluates, and maximizes customer service delivery and customer satisfaction
• Oversees Center maintenance, including cleanliness, safety, and organization
• Manages inventory
• May open and/or close the store and perform end-of-day accounting, etc.
• Frequently multi-tasks while maintaining extreme attention to detail and high quality control
• Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
• Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offers viable solutions
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• Communicates effectively with customers
• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Retail/customer service experience
• Willing to accept full accountability for Center operations
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to multi-task
• P&L experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
