Specific Role Responsibilities
As a member of the marketing team at Torque Fitness, the Graphic Designer/Website Specialist, you will play an important role in the concept, design and execution of various visual materials including email campaigns, product catalogs, digital advertisements, signage, and promotional collateral to support the Torque Fitness brand.
Graphic Design
· Conceptualize, design, and execute design materials such as social media images, infographics, email graphics, and print assets
· that are on brand, trend-right, and meet requirements with attention to detail
· Produce print-ready art including thorough proofing
· Communicate with printers on file/project details and timing
· Ensure brand continuity and cohesiveness across all design elements
· Collaborate with the in-house departments to create engaging visuals for clients across various platforms
· Remain up to date on current and developing trends in advertisements, catalogs, and email marketing and utilize insights to drive great design
Website Maintenance
· Website maintenance: Regularly updating website content such as text, images, and videos to keep it fresh and relevant, which also includes adding new pages, blog posts, or products, as well as removing outdated content
· Testing and debugging: Thoroughly testing the website to identify and fix any bugs or issues, ensuring a smooth and error-free user experience
Candidate Background Requirements
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design or related field
· Strong working knowledge and experience with Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
· An online portfolio showcasing creative design projects and demonstrating a range of skills to share with the hiring team as a part of the application process
· Positivity and resilience with the ability to give and receive design feedback, adapting quickly when a change in direction is necessary
· Detail-oriented, responsible, and committed to meeting deadlines
· A strong eye for current trends and styles and the ability to adapt them to fit our brand
· Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
· Experience creating and managing content in Shopify a plus.
This position will be based in our Coon Rapids, MN office.
Hybrid Work Schedule: Four days on-site, one day remote (Wednesday)
Hours per week: Fulltime (Monday-Friday)
Type of Pay: Salary
Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 (based on experience)
PTO: 3 weeks (15 Days) PTO yearly with 40 hr. rollover
