I'm looking to bring on a creative intern to help with the work load of a few of my freelance clients. The job is contract only (not payroll) - so you would need to withhold and remit your own taxes. My goal is to find someone who is interested in learning graphic design on the job while getting paid. I wills also offer optional unpaid design projects would provide 1-on-1 feedback and training with subjects that you're interested in.
Pay - $45/hr
Benefits - none (this is a contract position)
Hours - Varies, depends on project needs. Estimated 4-12hrs/week
Requirements:
- Your own laptop (mac preferred)
- Creative Cloud Suites (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- In-person work @ my home studio
This internship is meant to give you real experience to help you find a full time job as a graphic designer. You will have projects on an as-needed basis that will pay $45/hr (contract) and projects that are unpaid and fully optional where I can teach you different graphic design skills. These unpaid projects will focus on subject matter that interests you and will help flesh out your portfolio.
I will be going on maternity leave in October-Dec and this is my busiest time of year. Depending on how well we work together, you have the opportunity to continue working for Coy Ink Studio as a freelancer while I'm on maternity leave to help keep my clients active.
